In the North of Scotland, community isn’t just a word; it’s a way of life. Here at Logie Steading in Moray, we’re proud to be part of a place where people look out for one another and local businesses support each other.
At Country Man and Timeless, we share this spirit – bringing people together through, quality clothes, conversations, and memorable gatherings.
Since opening its doors in 2020, Timeless quickly became a go to destination, for discerning women in Moray and beyond. It wasn’t long before their husbands, partners and friends began asking, “Where’s our shop”? Recognising that there was a place for a men’s clothing shop that offered style, originality and fun, Country Man was born, opening its doors in 2023.
Our mission at Country Man is to offer carefully selected clothing, knitwear, and tailoring that bring confidence and personality to men’s wardrobes.
We’re driven by a commitment to thoughtful customer service and providing a shopping experience that’s as enjoyable as it is inspiring. For us, it’s about more than clothes – it’s about helping each customer find something that feels just right.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re always looking for ways to show our appreciation. That’s why we host special events once or twice a year – gatherings that are informal, imaginative, and always connected to the Country Man spirit. We are proud to partner with local businesses that share our love for quality and creativity, in our gatherings.
So far, we’ve had the pleasure of:
- Showcasing Colin Mowatt’s The Gentleman’s Hour, a men’s skincare range inspired by the Highlands.
- Hosting storytelling evenings that celebrate our shared history and humour.
- Cooking up paella and sharing stories around the room.
- Shaking up cocktails with Cairngorm Gin—and mocktails for the drivers.
- Serving canapés and hearty snacks, from: specialty Logie Longhorn beef sausage rolls by Chef John at the Café at Logie Steading to exceptional dishes by Tim Maddams. We also love to highlight the wealth of local produce and suppliers in our region—from Macbeth Butchers’ tasty mini chipolatas, to The Pantry in Forres and Rachael at Philip Fine Foods always delivering amazing food to our guests.
- Sampling the finest whiskies, guided by Olivia McLay from Ballindalloch Distillery, Alana King from Benromach Distillery, and Edward Odim of Murray McDavid.
- Hearing from Duke Christie, the cabinet maker who became an internationally renowned artist using fire to define his creations in wood.
- Treating guests to handmade chocolates from Braemar Chocolate Shop, created just for our events.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue nurturing these connections—with our customers, with our partners, small local moray businesses and with the wonderful people who make the North of Scotland such a special place. We can’t wait to see where the journey takes us next, as we keep bringing Country Man and Timeless style to Moray, Speyside and beyond.
