Do you know your bushcraft basics?

New for 2023, Will Hall is coming to Logie to run a number of outdoor experience workshops.

  • Do you have kids that are fascinated by nature?
  • Do you love the outdoors and want to learn more about the wildlife that calls Logie Estate home?
  • Have you seen animal tracks and wondered which animal they might have been left by?
  • Are you interested in foraging and want to learn the basics?
  • Do you love the idea of building a shelter in the woods?

If you answered yes to any of the above – this workshop is for you!

Designed to be fun for all the family, and all ages, the sessions will see Will take a small group of nature enthusiast into the beautiful Logie Estate grounds to explore the expansive woodlands and discover who calls them home. Logie Estate is the perfect place with a wealth of wildlife and habitat diversity to discover.

With a background in animal biology, Will has a passion for all things nature. With years of experience tracking Scotland’s unique wildlife, he is also a dab hand at filming and photographing what he finds and has work that has been published internationally.

His real passion, however, is teaching and sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the wonders of nature with children and adults alike. His Bushcraft Basics workshop is the perfect chance learn more about the natural world and how we can help to look after and preserve it.

In the course, you will learn the basics of firelighting, shelter building and water purification as well as trying your hand at tracking some of the local wildlife. Appropriate for all ages, there will be something for everyone.

  • Saturday 1st July
