The Long Room sits in part of the Big Garage, renovated and opened in 2013. The light and spacious room is available to hire for short and longer-term projects, both during the day and in the evening. It has traditional small-pane windows along the south facing wall with deeps sills, carpeted floor, a mellow neutral colour scheme and is entered through the entirely glazed east-facing archway.

The space has so far been host to meetings, courses, art exhibitions and other gatherings.  Recently, collaborative exhibitions of between 2 and 8 artists have been very successful, creating a well collated exhibition, and spreading the onus of staffing it
