It's Fri-yay and there are lots of reasons to visit Logie Steading, the Cafe here being one of them. Tuck into a delicious breakfast, stay for lunch or just opt for an excellently brewed coffee and cake. On Sunday, head chef Jose wil serve up a roast beef lunch with the atmosphere being boosted by live msuic frm Gareth Bryant. A perfect weekend.

Showcasing work from over 100 artists, the gallery

Showcasing work from over 100 artists, the gallery features paintings, sculpture, pottery, bronzes, glass, prints, jewellery, textiles and artists' cards. It's a treasure chest of art. The gallery is open seven days a week from 10am till 5pm

Thank you to the ever-wonderful @illyriatheatre who have surpassed even themselves with tonight’s performance of The Three Musketeers here at Logie Steading. Absolutely fantastic.

This was the last of Illyria’s four productions to visit Logie this summer, so sadly tonight we end our summer outdoor theatre season. Illyria’s productions can still be seen at a few more places this summer so do have a look at their website and we’ll be counting down the days until next summer when they return with some fresh productions for us. Watch this space..

Lastly, a huge thanks to the amazing Illyria actors, Oliver Gray, Panny who has for many years organised their visits to Logie, Mags and the cafe who keep us warm with hot drinks and full of sweet treats on performance nights, to the Logie shops who stay open to welcome pre-theatre shoppers, to the home team who look after the grounds and all-important loos and most of all to the wonderful audiences who come and enjoy these productions, rain or shine, chairs and picnics and smiles, whoops and cheers. Thank you 🙏

We had to share this pic of Logie sent to us by his owner Angela. Yes, thats’s right, this cat is called Logie! He lives in the south of France and was named after his owner payed a visit to Logie Steading in 2023. We love this!

It gets you to wondering.. we do of course know of other places called Logie, but are there any other animals or people out there who share the name?.. we’d love to know!
