_______________________________________________________________

At Logie Farm and Garden Shop, we like to sell products that we believe in and actually like to use or eat ourselves. You may well see us wearing the gloves or using the tools in the garden.  Just some of the products you'll find at the Farm & Garden Shop are listed below, with some information about why we have chosen them.

Longhorn Speciality Beef

Raised extensively here on Logie Estate. The award-winning Logie Herd produces beef among the absolute best around for taste and quality. Like all Logie Estate meat, beef is produced on a small scale and prepared in Forres; when the most popular cuts are gone, they're gone! If you'd like to order beef please contact the Farm and Garden Shop.  We are now able to send orders of fish and meat to most UK addresses by overnight delivery; please ring the shop if you would like to make an order.

Logie Estate Roe Venison

Delicious wild venison from Logie Estate is available in season and when sustainability allows. Sold as haunch, loin, sausages, escallopes (particularly good for making kebabs) and our ever-popular veni-burgers.

Logie Estate Traditional Breed Pork

Rare/minority breeds raised on a very small scale here on Logie Estate.

Logie Estate Jacob Lamb

Like the pork, the Jacob lamb is raised on a very small scale each summer so when it's gone, it's really gone.

Coffee

The special Logie blend of coffee has been developed for us by Kevin of the Inverness Coffee Roasting Company. Roasted locally this is a specially smooth blend which is very popular with our regular customers. We also stock other varieties including the new Sweet Brazil blend used, to great acclaim, in The Olive Tree Café - very appropriate as owner, Weller, hails from Brazil!

Some of the other local products in the shop

The award-winning Cullisse Highland Rapeseed Oil comes recommended by Nigel Slater and Claire MacDonald and we think it's delicious too. It is grown, pressed and bottled by Robert MacKenzie on his family farm in Easter Ross.

Jams and pickles are made in Nairn, and locally by Rachel Philp

Free range eggs from near Dyke and from the hens here at Logie

We stock a good range of really tasty local cheese from Tain and from Connage.

The highly baked Highland Crackers are made near Beauly.

Throughout the summer we have small batches of local honey .... but it is never on the shelf for long!
