We are sorry but we do not have the space or facilities to be able to accommodate bus parties or unannounced groups of more than eight.
Groups wanting to come primarily for a meal are requested to contact the cafe in advance as they regret that they may not be able to serve unannounced groups, particularly at busy times.
Groups who would like to arrange a visit to the gardens are requested to contact Panny Laing, who may be able to offer a guided tour with refreshments in the Long Room.

Logie House Gardens, the playground and of course the river walks are always open.
No! Each business is run individually by its owner(s). We pride ourselves on the excellent and diverse collection of independent craftspeople, enthusiasts and experts that we have managed to bring together at Logie Steading.
Logie House is still very much the Laings’ family home and so is not open to the public. Logie House Gardens, however, are always open with an honesty box at the gate.
Yes. Most parts of the Steading are accessible to wheelchair users and the infirm, excepting the upstairs of the Art Gallery and the cafe. Due to the rural location and the nature of the old buildings, there are uneven surfaces particularly in the courtyard to consider. Please refer to our Accessibility page or contact us before your visit to discuss your requirements should you have any concerns.
Yes! Several of the shops have items to interest little eyes from the bright crafts at Hellygog to the children’s corner with miniature furniture in the second hand bookshop. We have a big grassy playpark, gardens open and walks of lengths to satisfy all so there’s oodles of space for energetic youngsters to roam. And when they’re all done in, the Olive Tree Cafe have a tasty children’s menu – and tempting treats for grown-ups too!
We have a series of courses, workshops and events throughout the year that are chid-friendly too – from craft workshops during many of the school holidays, to family outdoor theatre productions (such as Roald Dahl) in summer to the Christmas Market on the second weekend in December.

Yes, fishing permits can be organised via the Estate Office on 01309 611300. Fishing is seasonal and day or week permits are available depending on the time of year. Fishing rates, availability and more information can be found on the fishing page.
Accommodation on the estate is rented on a long-let basis. Any current vacancies are displayed on the Property to Let page of this site. Ace Hideaways is a unique low-impact campsite a short drive up the road from Logie Steading where there are a handful of tent pitches, bell tents and shepherd’s huts and ideal for low-key short stays at Logie.
Ace Adventure is based a short drive up the road from Logie Steading, and also the home of Ace Hideaways camping and glamping. They offer white water rafting on the River Findhorn, paintball, disc golf and other outdoor activities.
