Have you ever wanted to see the workings of the iconic clock at Logie Steading?
To commemorate 100 years since the clock first ticked over the then brand-new Logie Steading model farm, we are offering a one-off opportunity to have a look behind the scenes of the clocktower with Alec Laing.
Climb up into the room above the arch to see the workings of the original 1920’s clock. Help Alec wind the clock, see how the pendulum and weights work and see the Steading from a different angle.
Who is this For?
The access to the clock is via a ladder, has a low ceiling height and goes through a dark enclosed space. A torch will be provided. Please only sign up for this if you are able to negotiate this adventurous access to the clock tower.
Minimum age 12 years.
Where and When?
11th May.
Meet under the clocktower at 1.45pm.
Will take approx 20mins to half an hour.

How to Sign Up?
Due to the small space inside the clock tower, each tour is very limited and can only take a maximum of 3 people. Please contact Marilyn in the estate office on info@logie.co.uk to sign up, letting her know your preferred date and time, number of people and that you are confident that you are happy with the access. We will keep a small waiting list if all the places are taken.
